The questions site engineers, contractors and house owners ask us most often, answered plainly.
What is the minimum quantity of ready mix concrete you supply?
A standard transit mixer carries about 6 cu.m. We regularly supply part loads for smaller residential pours, but part loads carry a shorter working window, so tell us the site access and we will advise the most economical way to run it.
How far can you deliver from a Kapsha plant?
Concrete has to be discharged within a limited time from batching, so haul distance decides whether a pour will succeed. Our plants and supply bases cover Amritsar, Majitha, Batala, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, Dinanagar, Pathankot, Madhopur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Jammu, Kathua, Samba and the Jassur–Kangra belt. If your site sits outside a workable radius we will tell you plainly rather than send a poor load.
Which concrete grade should I use for a house slab?
M20 and M25 cover most residential RCC slabs, beams and columns. Multi-storey and commercial framed structures usually move to M30 and above. Send us the element and floor level and we will confirm the grade with you.
Do you provide a concrete pump?
Yes. Boom pumps and line pumps can be arranged along with the supply for upper floors, rafts and long-reach placements. Book the pump with the concrete so both arrive on the same slot.
Do you supply at night?
Our plants run Monday to Sunday, 24 hours. Large rafts, big slabs and traffic-restricted pours are often best scheduled overnight or at first light.
Will I get test reports?
Yes. Slump is checked at site before discharge, and cube samples are taken where the consultant requires them. 7-day and 28-day compressive strength results are shared for your records.
When should curing start?
Start curing about two hours after the concrete is placed, and apply slurry on the same day as casting. Our marketing and plant staff will brief your site team on the curing plan.
How much notice do you need for a large pour?
Two days is ideal for large pours so mixers and a pump can be held for your slot. For urgent same-day loads, call and we will tell you what is genuinely possible.
Do you supply fiber reinforced and self-compacting concrete?
Yes — steel fibre and polypropylene fibre mixes, self-compacting concrete for congested reinforcement, pumpable mixes, pavement quality concrete and decorative polished, stamped, coloured and stained concrete.
